What to expect:
At JustFly! Drone Pilot Training, we are committed to maximising your learning experience.
That’s why we maintain a maximum instructor-to-student ratio of 3:1, allowing you to spend more time flying and less time waiting.
Upon your arrival, we’ll greet you with a brief safety overview to set the stage for your training. Next, we’ll review the essential rules and regulations governing drone use, ensuring you understand your responsibilities as a pilot.
If you haven't yet completed it, we’ll also assist you in obtaining your FLYER ID, which is a legal requirement for operating drones in the UK. We provide a link and guide you through the process step-by-step to make sure you stay compliant with the law.
Our ultimate goal is to equip you with everything you need to become a confident and safe drone pilot, whether for fun or commercial purposes. With our expert instruction and support, you'll be ready to take flight in no time!
2-hour practical lesson:
At JustFly! Drone Pilot Training, we’ll equip you with all the skills needed to operate the DJI Mini 3 Pro like a pro!
We’ll begin with setting up your drone and performing essential pre-flight checks, including how to assess your surroundings before take-off. Once you’re comfortable with take-off and landing, we’ll practice basic controls and navigate the DJI App until you feel confident maneuvering the Mini 3 Pro.
Beyond the basics, you’ll also explore the drone's safety features and the return-to-home functions. We'll teach you about VLOS (Visual Line of Sight) and how to recover your drone if you become disoriented or lose track of it.
Once you’ve mastered the Mini 3 Pro, we’ll introduce you to the Mavic 3 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom, giving you hands-on experience with different models and their unique capabilities to help you choose the right drone for your needs.
Our training could be your stepping stone towards a commercial flying career. By the end of the course, you’ll have the confidence and skills to tackle any drone-related challenge.
